Why did Yale admit women? The short answer is to keep attracting top men. Hear from 2 of the 1st women who attended Yale as undergrads in 1969, together with author Anne Gardiner Perkins, who wrote the book, 'Yale Needs Women.' These trailblazing women fought sexism, isolation, and were barred from many of the privileges of their male colleagues. But fight they did.
