Escape to Notchview in the Berkshires for a day of XC skiing and snowshoeing. 17 km of groomed trails over 3,000 acres of rolling terrain is a winter-land refuge nestled in one of Massachusetts’s most beautiful regions. Notchview is part of the Hoosac Range or an extension of the Green Mountains of Vermont. The forest and field of Notchview are home to dozens of wild species including moose, hare, and deer. You might even hear the sounds of barred owls, woodpeckers, and chickadees while traversing the trails on snowshoe or ski.
After becoming one with the outdoors and friends, head to the Budd Visitor Center where you can purchase sandwiches, soup, and beverages. The lodge features an incredible view of the reservation, and public restrooms are available for use.
