Join the instructors, students, and friends of the Bow Sim Mark Tai Chi Arts Association in celebrating World Tai Chi Day once again on the Rose Kennedy Greenway!
The longest-running Tai Chi event in Boston will return on April 25th from 10-11:30 AM at Greenway Park in Chinatown, next to the iconic Gate. This year, we will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Grandmaster Bow Sim Mark's school. Since she founded the Chinese Wushu Research Institute in Chinatown in 1976, her students have spread her legacy around the world. The ancient art of Tai Chi is renowned for its health benefits, especially for older people.
As one of the few women to reach an advanced level of mastery in Kung Fu, Grandmaster Bow Sim Mark is a pioneer in the art. Her son Donnie Yen is a world renowned martial artist and film star (IP MAN, ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, JOHN WICK 4). Whether you're new to Tai Chi or a long-time practitioner, everyone is welcome to attend this free event. Rain date is April 26 2026.
