Taking place during Boston's 250 year anniversary, at a time where the city is reflecting on it's own maritime history, Working Coast - Below the Line explores New England's maritime coast, fishing communities, and ocean ecology that make up life at the water's edge.

Fort Point became Boston's budding art scene in the 1970's, as artists moved into the vacant warehouses and spaces, left behind by the booming maritime industrial age of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Partnering with FPAC, one of the oldest and largest arts communities in New England, and showing in the FPAC Art Space, called back to that time, place, and community, paying homage to the artistic community that bloomed from Boston's maritime culture.

The exhibition features three local emerging artists:

H. Wolfe

Nikki Ekstrom

John Mendizabal

All artworks will be for sale (unless listed as "NFS") and are affordable with prices not exceeding $1k.
