Worcester Women Changemakers: Celebrating Women's Equality Day & Suffrage


The program will feature a panel discussion, performances, and a series of community readings highlighting diverse historical and contemporary voices. All content centers around the Women’s Suffrage Movement, voter registration and activation, female empowerment, and community activism. The City of Worcester and Worcester Cultural Coalition will produce Worcester Women’s Changemakers with community organizers, local leaders, cultural and historical institutions, artists, and youth groups.


Worcester Women Changemakers will be broadcast at 7pm August 26, 2020 - the 100th anniversary of the first Women's Equality Day, which celebrated the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution.
