Many voices, one poem
Many voices, one poem
In silence, or out loud
But, together

come celebrate with me
what I have shaped into a kind of life
this terrible miracle I mourn
and find joy in everyday
Come join us for a great time that will be filled with soul, joy and fun! Please come curious and ready to find some enjoyment!
Queer BIPOC women + femmes are invited to speak and be heard through the words of Lucille Clifton. Everyone else? You're here to witness and hold space.
We'll sit. We'll share. We'll celebrate.
This event is inspired by silent worship, healing circles, and open mic nights.
Space is limited so please RSVP only if you know you can make it.Â
Supported by a grant from the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture, City of Boston.
Â
If you like poetry or feeling awed. Or youâre an introvert who hates to be alone. If youâre gay or ânonwhite and coloredâ. Or if youâre exhausted from mourning more genocides than you have fingers. If youâre enby or have 3 or more cats. If you rarely look in the mirror. If youâre a parent. If you love someone and fear for their life. If youâre glad, and surprised, to be alive⌠this gathering is for you.
Â
Bring your whole self, with whatever youâre carrying, and a friend or ally. All are welcome, here.
