To culminate their 50th anniversary season, Walpole Children’s Theatre is about to bring to life the classic adventure "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz", based off the book by L. Frank Baum. A cyclone carries Dorothy and her dog, Toto, to the magical land of Oz, where they encounter all the famous characters along the way with some new faces as well . The play is filled with wonderful stage thrills, awesome and funny meetings with the great Oz himself and eventually a battle with the Wicked Witch of the West.
WCT cast and crew have been hard at work during these past several months, preparing to bring this classic adventure to the community.
Performances will be held at Walpole Footlighters Playhouse at 2 Scout Road in E. Walpole on the following dates:
