Every Friday from 4-7 pm, our winemakers, mead makers, and hard cider makers come to the Massachusetts Wine Shop to share complimentary samples with YOU! All featured wines, meads, or hard ciders are 10% off, so you can sip and then shop! Come try something delicious and meet the people behind the wine!

1634 Meadery is a small artisan style honey-wine maker located in picturesque Ipswich, Massachusetts. They make small scale batches of wine in a manner that helps capture the true honey, fruit and spice tastes and smells of local ingredients.

Mead is an ancient alcoholic drink made from fermented honey and water. It can be produced with a wide variations of tastes - fermenting the honey along with fruit, herbs, spices, etc. can totally change the product. Mead can be sweet, dry, semi-dry. It can be sipped over ice, straight up, plain, or warmed.
