Legally Fluff: A Toast to Union Square


The 21st Annual Fluff Festival returns to Union Square on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 1-5pm (severe weather date Sunday, September 20). This year's theme, "Legally Fluff: A Toast to Union Square," celebrates 21 years of Somerville's invention of Marshmallow Fluff with live music, sticky games, and citywide innovation.


The festival's commemorative 2026 design comes from Fluff aficionado Jen Gubicza (@zooguu), featuring fluffalicious toasts of all kinds.


Presented by Union Square Main Streets and the Somerville Arts Council, the free, family-friendly event draws Fluff enthusiasts from Greater Boston and beyond. Union Square Station on the MBTA Green Line drops off near the East Entrance.
