Online Event! Have you been to Gore Place before and wondered: "What's inside this big brick building?" Kids and families are invited to attend a special virtual tour of the home and see some of the spaces the Gores lived in 200 years ago!
Learn about Christopher and Rebecca Gore and their butler Robert Roberts as we visit the rooms they would have worked in, studied in, entertained in, and slept in during the early 1800s. We'll examine how our lives are similar and different to the Gores in this hour-long presentation. This program will be offered free on Zoom.com. This program was funded, in part, by a grant from the MassHumanities Bridge Street Fund for Local History. Gore Place receives funding from the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
Cost is free, although donations will be welcome. The webinar will take place online via Zoom. Pre-registration is required. Register at goreplace.org.The event is limited to 100 participants.
