Every successful founder learns to balance ambition and realism. Billion-dollar "unicorn" companies are exceedingly rare. Some voices in the startup community implore founders to manage expectations and capital raised to pursue more achievable, modest exits, while others continue to beat the drum that we need more founders to aim big and take more "moonshots."

So we've gathered a panel of the founders, executives, and investors behind some of Boston's own billion-dollar companies -- the people with first-hand experience in growing startups to industry-leading juggernauts. Join us to hear lessons learned: the factors that make unicorn status acheiveable to begin with, the strategic decisions made along the way, and what it takes for the founding team to lead their company to this kind of success.

This event is part of the Founding Startups track at Startup Boston 2018.
