On this tour of the colonial highway connecting Andover to Tewksbury you will see 200 years of varied architectural home styles, the oldest standing house of worship and the oldest headstone. We will hear about the inception of the West Parish Anti-Slavery Society of the 1830’s, a stop on the underground railroad, the Hardy Brush Company and the shoe industry.
Duration: 1 1/2 hours
Terrain: Mostly sidewalk and grass, one hill
