Our conference seeks to pair design and development disciplines in an uncommon format. This year's edition will be hosted at Wayfair HQ and features a great international lineup of speakers including designers and developers from NPR, Square, Mozilla, Red Hat, GitLabs, the MIT Media Lab; a full day of workshops; two days of 30 talks in 3 tracks; networking opportunities, included meals, an IBM sponsored event night, a security hackathon, and more.

Highlights will include a keynote by Ethan Zuckerman, Director of the Center for Civic Media and Associate Professor of the Practice, MIT Media Lab (and one of the founders of Tripod, an early participatory media company). Red Hat will present a full day workshop on web application development using container. UX designers are invited to a workshop on solving complex real-world user experience design challenges. In the Thursday and Friday talk sessions, learn how NPR tests mobile applications, how Let's Encrypt can scale to secure 10,000 websites, and how Wayfair powers their six billion dollar business with GraphQL.

Northeast PHP is entirely non-profit, and committed to creating a diverse, welcoming environment. Our organizers and speakers volunteer their time to create a community event experience.
