WCC's Eggscrambler In Whitin Park

The Whitin Community Center (WCC) is pleased to announce our NEW! Eggscrambler Event In Whitin Park to be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 9am-11am.

Join us for our eggtastic, Eggscrambler event in Whitin Park! This is a self-led scavenger hunt for children and their families to get outside, enjoy the park and have a chance to win some great prizes. Large wooden eggs will be scattered throughout Whitin Park and some will have letters on them. These lettered eggs will spell out a secret word! You will have a chance to win a Giant Kids Basket Filled with Goodies and a FREE Youth Membership to the WCC! Every child will receive a Goodie Bag for attending the event.

While at the event also enjoy reading the StoryWalk, The Rabbit Listened, by Cori Doerrfeld, provided by Beginning Bridges CFCE. The Rabbit Listened is a beautifully illustrated book about empathy and kindness, sure to soothe heartaches big and small.

You can also register at the Member Services Desk for your secret Eggscrambler directions and worksheet! The directions and worksheet will guide you at the event, as it is self led, and they are required for your chance to win a FREE 1 Year Youth Membership and a Giant Kids Basket Filled with Goodies!

This is a fundraising event for the WCC’s Rockdale Youth Center (RYC) and Blackstone Valley Children’s Place (BVCP) programs. Money raised will be used to support the BVCP All Abilities Playground Fund and the RYC Youth Mural Project.
