Meet Maria Garcia, the new editor of The ARTery, WBUR’s arts and culture team, and hear her exciting plans for bringing you the latest news of Boston’s vibrant art scene. Take a seat among the 26 lavish pieces of Louis XIV furniture cast in concrete as Maria interviews Kate Gilbert, founder and director of public art curator Now + There, the group that organized Open House for Boston.

Put your feet up, have some refreshments and hear from two women with big plans for Boston’s art scene.

This event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is requested. There will be no rain date.
