At Miranda's Hearth, we know just how hot and explosive the waltz can be. That's why this month we're pushing our monthly waltz night to a new level by Waltzing the Blues. Kelsey Flynn will be DJing an entire evening of blues and fusion music with recognizable waltz beats.


Want to waltz? We've got you covered.
Want to blues? We hope you will!
Want to combine the two? We can't WAIT for it!


Don't forget to bring your friends! This is a begineer-friendly event with a lesson before the dancing, so "I haven't waltzed before!" is not a good enough excuse for you to stay home.

Beginner AND Intermediate Lessons at 7pm
Dance from 8-10:30pm


Cost: $10, $7 for students
Who: Everyone! From newbies to experts, everyone can enjoy a twirl on our dance floor.
What to bring: Clean shoes and comfortable clothes


Beginner Lesson with Nick Arango:


"If you can walk, and you can count, then you can dance. We will bring you through the fundamentals of what makes a waltz, and how to connect with your partner. By the end of the class you should have all the tools you need to enjoy yourself on the dance floor. Come out and join us!"


Intermediate Lesson with Clayton Jennings:


"Waltzing the Blues, Details coming soon!"


Transportation: The Democracy Center is right on the red line in Harvard Square! Parking can be tight, but all the metered spots are free because it's Sunday!


Accessibility: The Democracy Center is not wheelchair accessible, all entrances have 5-6 steps.


Photos: We'll be taking photographs during the lesson and until the break at 9:15. Check our Facebook page after the event to see if we caught you twirling. The second half of dancing is photo-free!
