Walk among a spectacular herd of life-sized elephant sculptures while internationally renowned conservation biologist Dr. Kamal Bawa, founder of ATREE and Distinguished Professor Emeritus at UMass Boston, leads a fascinating walking conversation about elephants, biodiversity and human-wildlife coexistence.


Presented by Legacy 250 ( www.IndiaUSLegacy250.Org ) commemorating 250 years of American Independence and 250 years of US-India rlations, the experience also connects the elephants to a remarkable chapter of U.S.–India history—the arrival of the first elephant from India in America in 1796. Free and open to families, students and the community.
