Kicking off the summer with gusto on Tuesday, June 7th at 4:00pm, the captain, crew, and Board of Directors invite you to attend a charity event unlike any before. Walk The Plank is a fundraiser featuring 10 lucky people, chosen by the community, to take the plunge into Boston harbor from the plank of Boston’s historic tall ship Roseway, docked at Rowes Wharf in Boston’s downtown financial district.
All funds are going to support students from the Friends of Children Boston to participate in World Ocean School programs this summer. All Walk the Plank donations will help us to reach our fundraising goal of $20,000.
Those spared from a water-logged fate will be invited to watch the lucky winners walk the plank at our dockside party in the Rowes Wharf Rotunda and aboard Roseway. Food, drink, music, raffles, and prizes will carry us into the evening.
