Thibaut Garcia and Antoine Morinière bring a fresh and captivating perspective to Bach's Goldberg Variations, one of the most celebrated masterpieces of the solo keyboard repertoire. Playing instruments built by the same luthier from the same tree, these longtime friends do more than divide the music between two guitars: they pass Bach's voices and counterpoint back and forth with an almost telepathic intimacy, performing the suite as though with a single musical mind.
