Curate Foodservice and Bakes for Breast Cancer have partnered together to host a virtual cooking class in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The “Pretty in Pink” cooking class will feature three delicious (and pink) recipes from Curate’s Chef Isabel. Chef Isabel will guide participants through a restaurant-quality cocktail, entrée, and dessert, all from the comfort of their own home.
The class will be led by Chef Isabel Wilder, Curate’s Culinary Experience Manager. For the evening, Chef Isabel has prepared a pink-themed menu featuring a Rhubarb & Basil Cocktail, Roasted Shrimp, and Broccolini with Romesco Sauce for the entrée, and Cranberry Curd Bars with Walnut Crust to finish off the meal.
While this virtual class is free to the public, participants are encouraged to donate to Bakes for Breast Cancer upon registration. Bakes for Breast Cancer, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Through dessert-oriented events, Bakes for Breast Cancer has created “sweet” ways to raise money for a disease that touches so many women and men. Proceeds raised will benefit the nonprofit breast cancer organization Bakes for Breast Cancer which will support the research of Dr. Rachel Freedman.
This class hosted by Curate is the beginning of an ongoing partnership with Bakes for Breast Cancer as a part of Curate’s expansion in philanthropic efforts.
