The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly impacted the Boston community. For many of us, it stopped or changed the beat of our daily lives.
At Italian home, the beat went on.
As an essential service, we continued to show up each and every day to work with the youth living in our residential program. We pivoted to provide telehealth services to the youth and families in our community initiatives. And we creatively persevered to continue to educate the students in our day school.
There was no option to stop or even skip a beat. We could not have done so without our incredible staff and community partners.
As we begin to see the light at the end of the COVID-19 tunnel, we at Italian Home know that the beat must go on. We are far from returning to what was once "normal" in our operations. While we take this opportunity to celebrate the journey we've undertaken, it is just as important to continue pushing forward.
