Take a journey from the cacao bean to the piece of chocolate you know and love as you discover the background behind each bite. Victoria Kichuk from Cocoa Beantown will guide you through an educational exploration of the layers of chocolate production from the cocoa bean, to the chocolate maker and ending with the chocolatier. The class will also focus on the difference between truffles and bon bons, as well as the differences between Greek, Belgian and French chocolates. The class will explore the differences in percentages of chocolate, with tastes of milk and dark chocolates along the way. In addition to the educational component, you will be guided through a tasting experience of chocolate specialties from Gräem Nuts and Chocolate. Tickets ($35pp) may be purchased in store or online at CocoaBeantown.com, and tasting boxes may be picked up at Gräem Nuts and Chocolate in Concord. Limited spots available!
