The Cambridge Veterans' Services Department will host the City’s first Veterans’ Day Town Hall at the Main Cambridge Library in the afternoon on Veterans’ Day. Veterans and all members of the community are invited and encouraged to attend!
The Veterans' Town Hall will help bridge the civil-military gap in our community by creating a forum for veterans of all generations to gather and share their unique experiences. This approach is inspired by Native American traditions of warrior storytelling.
Those who served will share their stories and experience with neighbors and friends for whom they fought, and what their service has meant to them over the past several decades.
Members of the audience will, in turn, learn from the experiences of local veterans and leave with a fuller understanding of military service.
Please join us! Refreshments and food will be served early.
