Gallery A2 at Artisans Asylum is thrilled to present Vessel, a group exhibition featuring the work of 21 New England based artists.

A vessel is an object that holds something—artifacts, keepsakes, an idea. We make vessels as reliquaries for memories, grief, memento mori, the remains of a loved one. Our heart is an arrangement of vessels. A seed is a vessel that germinates a life. A vase holds natural beauty in our homes. A ship is built to connect us across vast distances.
