New to HUBweek this year, the Ideas Dome Presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA will feature a series of more than four dozen sessions taking place across five days, exploring how we can build a more inclusive and equitable future.

When Science is Not Enough. Despite our scientific understanding of addiction as a chronic disease, public opinion and public policy are still largely based on viewing people with addiction as having a moral failure. This talk will examine those attitudes and delve into why storytelling and personal narrative can do what science cannot.

Speaker:

Michael Botticelli
Executive Director, Grayken Center for Addiction (BMC)

Please note: all Ideas Dome sessions require a free HUBweek General Admission Pass to attend.
