Hi All,
Let's head to the MIT campus this Sunday 7/28 to sketch the Ray and Maria Stata Center. For those that haven't been before - this is a funky building with lots of interesting angles and design elements.
The Ray and Maria Stata Center or Building 32 is a 720,000-square-foot (67,000 m2) academic complex designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Frank Gehry for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The building opened for initial occupancy on March 16, 2004.The building's address is 32 Vassar Street.
Let's meet at 11am right outside the Stata Center, we'll then sketch for 2 hours, and meet back at 1pm to share our work and chat.
As always, all are welcome to come out to sketch - from beginners on up.
