The Boston Public Garden is a photographer’s delight! This vintage park offers fabulous photo ops in the form of waterscapes, bubbling fountains, topiaries, dramatic statues, flowers, bikers, dog walkers, and even a small cemetery. Learn to tell an interesting story by choosing from a myriad of composition strategies. Take a bug’s perspective of flowers by shooting from below, or get a bird’s eye view from atop a statue. Practice panning as a skateboarder or bike rider passes by. Get insight into shutter speed control, which will allow you to capture the split second a droplet of water falls into a fountain or the velvety smooth impression of flowing water.
