The URBAN.Boston planning team (the Boston Node of the URBAN Research Network) would like to invite you to attend our Spring 2023 Networking Breakfast! The breakfast would be an opportunity to bring together the URBAN.Boston network, researchers, students, and practitioners from the Greater Boston community to discuss active community engagement and participatory research. The event will highlight the work of Ms. Cynthia K. Orellana, Director of the Office of Community Partnerships (OCP) at UMass Boston, and Ms. Rachele Gardner, Associate Director at the Engagement Lab at Emerson College, as they lead a discussion on the challenges and opportunities around university community engagement and share learnings from their own work. They will present their experience with university community engagement through an institutional lens and share the areas to focus on for future investments. The breakfast is planned for April 25th, 9:00 am – 10:30 am, at Hyde Square Task Force (30 Sunnyside St, Boston, MA 02130). Please find more details on the event and registration on the attached flyer. For any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected].
