As the need for blood donation continues, University Station in Westwood will host a blood donation drive in partnership with the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Blood Donor Program on Wednesday, September 16 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration will be located inside the space next to Chipotle, and blood mobiles will be set up in the parking lot. MGH will establish additional safety guidelines to ensure all donors are socially distanced.


The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has stated that the coronavirus (COVID-19) does not pose any known risk to blood donors during the donation process or from attending blood drives. Donors are asked to register in advance by visiting ShopUniversityStation.com.
