Blood donations are needed more than ever. University Station will host two blood donation drives this June in partnership with the American Red Cross. They will be held on Monday, June 8 and Tuesday, June 23, 2020, both from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The drives will be located inside the space next to Famous Footwear and are by appointment only. Please visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter the sponsor code UniversityStation or call 1-800-RED CROSS (733-2767) to schedule your appointment. The American Red Cross will ensure all donors are socially distanced and there will be ample distancing space for those waiting within the center.
It is safe to donate blood. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has stated that the coronavirus (COVID-19) does not pose any known risk to blood donors during the donation process or from attending blood drives. For more information, visit ShopUniversityStation.com.
