SEIU 509 Higher Ed 2nd annual story slam.


Come and enjoy an afternoon of solidarity, hilarity and perspicacity with your union sibs. Come to tell and come to listen.


All stories on the theme “schooled” – poignant, funny, insightful or whimsical are welcome. “schooled” – broadly interpreted to evoke stories where: someone taught you, you taught someone, you learned something the hard way or you “took” someone else “to school” and schooled them.


Prizes for the 3 best stories!


Proceeds go to Cosecha and the SEIU 509 Scholarship Fund.


Anyone dues paying member of a union gets 1/2 price admission.
