Union Comedy is Boston’s hub for longform improv—an artist-run theater created by performers who are passionate about the craft and serious about making you laugh.


5PM The Jam opens the stage to everyone—whether you’ve got years of experience or you’re trying improv for the very first time. Toss your name in the bucket before the show for a chance to play, or just sit back and enjoy the chaos from the audience. Every last Sunday of the month, The Jam is reserved for women only. This show is FREE.


7PM Cagematch is a live improv showdown where two indie teams go head to head and the audience decides who advances. Teams battle for laughs, bragging rights, and the right to return the following week. This show is $15.


Transportation: Somerville Ave has free 2-hour street parking, the 83/87 bus stops right outside, and there is a blue bike station across the street. We are 0.6 miles from Porter Square Station (Red Line) and 1 mile from Union Square Station (Green Line).
