March in Boston - it's a wet, cold, slushy land out there. It's been a long winter. You've made your eleventh batch of The Stew and wondering when the heck you can start buying local strawberries again. Whereas spring might be celebrated for its tender greens, summer for zucchinis and tomatoes, and fall for pumpkins and apples, winter is not a season typically known for its fresh produce. But we are here now to celebrate our underground friends, to celebrate the food that has kept us Northeasterners going all winter long. All of the storage crops that linger long after the last tomato or floret of broccoli is gone. To honor the tough survivors that keep providing up through the first weeks of spring. Bid farewell to winter and say hello to spring on Monday evening, March 25th, to see what the underground world of food has to offer. Join us as days get longer and longer and the temperature starts to climb,
