Unique opportunity to play the ukulele (and sing) songs in what was once the administrative building of the oldest chocolate factory in America. Walter Baker Artist Loft Building has a permanent exhibit of artists in residence and temporary exhibit in the common room where the ukulele jam session and workshop will take place. Location: near Milton T (redline to Ashmont, then Mattapan trolley). Free street parking.


Beginner's ukulele workshop runs from 7 to 8 pm Cash $15 for adult ($5 child if accompanied by adult). Ukuleles can be reserved in advance for $10 extra for the evening. Participants are welcome to stay for the free thematic jam session that follows.


The free jam session starts at 8 pm - FREE with warm-up session of easy chords all to a theme.
