While stuck in isolation, gaming can be an awesome way to keep socially connected. Even for those of us without gaming consoles and libraries of our own, there are lots of opportunities out there to game with friends... you just have to know where to look!
Twice a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays, a small team of your friendly local BPL Teen Librarians will be using its newly minted Twitch stream to host a series of wacky, irreverent online games, all of which are designed to be played by large audiences. Use your phone or Internet-enabled device to join the game, joke around in chat, and even recommend the next game! Those of you with a PlayStation 4 can friend the TeenCentral1 PSN gamertag to participate in voice chat as well.
If you are in 6th through 12th grade, come join the conversation on Twitch... let's find a way to make social distancing a little less distant!
This event will be viewable online by joining the chat at twitch.tv/BPLts.
