Tulip Mania opens Thursday 4/23 with 75,000 blooms in Wellesley, MA

75,000+ Tulips for Display & Pick-Your-Own
Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s (MHS) fourth annual Tulip Mania will officially open on Thursday, April 23 at the Garden at Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA. Starting Wednesday, guests can experience over 75,000 blooming tulips on display and available for pick-your-own. Timed tickets are required for this event and will be on sale today starting at 1:00pm at www.masshort.org/tulip-mania.
Less than 20 miles from Downtown Boston, Tulip Mania is one of the closest tulip fields to the city. Guests are invited to pose for photos in the display-only area in the Trial Garden and take Tulip Mania home with them as pick-your-own stems (while available) or precut stems (available throughout the festival).
The large-scale floral displays in two garden areas are accompanied by other spring flowers blooming throughout the 36-acre Garden at Elm Bank. Rows of daffodils in the Italianate Garden, fragrant Magnolias and Lilacs, decades-old Rhododendrons, and purple Alliums bring beauty and color to Garden guests between April and May.
