Please join us for a special travel workshop at HI Boston on Responsible Volunteering! Whether you’ve already signed up to be a volunteer in a specific country or region, or you’re simply interested in the concept of how to respectfully ‘lend a hand’ in a context very different than your own, we invite you to attend this unique workshop exploring the social, environmental and political dimensions of how to volunteer responsibly.

HI Boston welcomes special guest Trevor Shorb, Manager of the Service Learning program at Education First, to lead us through this workshop and facilitated discussion covering:

- The different types of opportunities available, including how best to support communities and nonprofits in their sustainable development initiatives
- The cost of volunteer opportunities
