Adult Swim comedy duo Tim and Eric have announced Mandatory Attendance, a new international tour for 2020 promising "brand new spoofs, goofs and insanity," as well as "very special surprises."
The US leg of the tour kicks off at the end of January and runs through early March with stops in Dallas (Tickets), Cleveland (Tickets), Detroit (Tickets), San Francisco (Tickets), and Los Angeles (Tickets). Presales begin Sept. 25, followed by the general on sale on Friday, Sept. 27. VIP packages and AXS Premium seating will also be available.
A trailer for the tour features Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim's signature brand of bizarre, surreal comedy, explains the Mandatory Attendance moniker, saying, "Anybody watching right now is now legally assigned the responsibility of attending the tour."
The duo is known for multiple Adult Swim shows, including Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!, which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2017, Tom Goes to the Mayor, Tim & Eric’s Bedtime Stories and spinoff Check It Out! with Dr. Steve Brule, starring John C. Reilly. Heidecker's current show, On Cinema at the Cinema, returns this Wednesday, Sept. 25.
