Join us for the first speaker in our series, Through the Lens of Art: Building Bridges. Internationally known, interdisciplinary artist Yu-Wen Wu focuses her attention on displacement, immigration and assimilation. Join us for an evening with the artist to discuss her practice and the impact that migration, with its many challenges, has on marginalized communities. The talk will include images of her work and an excerpt from the video Tell Me, an element of the progressive exhibit Leavings/Belongings currently at SITE Santa Fe. This event is free and open to the public.
This program is supported in part by a grant from the Weston Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency. This series is also supported by the Friends of the Weston Public Library.
