Experience the vibrancy of Latin American narratives through the compelling voices of mezzo-soprano Fanny Lora and pianist Alexandra Lutkevich. This season, they collaborate on an award-winning and captivating musical journey, spotlighting compositions by trailblazing women from Colombia, Argentina, and Cuba. Featuring a poignant song cycle by Boston-based composer Omar Najmi with text by Dominican-American poet Alondra Bobadilla, the 2020 Boston Youth Laureate.
With themes of love, loss, motherhood, existence, and mental health this concert weaves diverse voices and stories into a rich musical tapestry, fostering connection and celebrating inclusivity in classical music. Don’t miss this transformative event—where music unites us all, offering a cultural bridge for audiences in New England and beyond.
Supported by Berklee College of Music's Diversity and Inclusion Grant, and by the Natick and Framingham cultural councils, local agencies supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
