THE BOSTON UJIMA PROJECT
Building a People's Economy in Boston


THE UJIMA PROJECT is organizing neighbors, workers, business owners and investors to create a new community-controlled economy in Boston. We are challenging poverty and developing our communities by organizing our savings, businesses and customers to grow local wealth and meet our own needs.

OLIO is a worker-owned culinary collective, dedicated to sustainable sourcing, workplace fairness & the celebration of food as culture. Olio is proud to use food as a means to uplift their customers and build the resilience of community. The worker-owners of Olio come from a wide range of culinary backgrounds, ready to create a specially customized menu that fits your budget and event needs. DUDLEY CAFE hosts annual fundraisers for local organizations that work towards uplifting the Roxbury community through the arts, culture, technology, wellness, education or social justice. In light of recent events, now more than ever is a time to come together as a community and support each other. This year they will be hosting Boston Ujima Project for their first annual fundraiser dinner in collaboration with Olio.
