7:00 PM Waiting Room
8:00 PM Intermission
9:00 PM Intake Interview [Multimedia Concert]
The experience will include an hour during which attendees can freely explore the ThotBot Implantation Center waiting room followed by an hour intermission when attendees will be asked to vacate the venue while the space is reconfigured for the multimedia concert. There are several restaurants, bars, and tea shops nearby to pass the time. Please plan accordingly.
This immersive and interactive installation is but one Episode in the multi-platform ThotBot storyverse. This elaborate and sprawling dystopia was created by musician/filmmaker/multimedia artist Rebecca Kopycinski. Check out the larger project at reaganesthermyer.com or on Instagram @reaganesthermyer.
Want to step into the story before your appointment? Check out these Episodes wherever you stream podcasts or music:
Listen to After Impact, a six-part scripted fiction podcast.
Listen to the Reagan Esther Myer soundtrack.
For the safety of everyone (especially the artist and venue staff), all attendees must be fully vaccinated and wear masks at all times. IDs and vaccination cards must be shown upon entry. Temperature checks will be administered upon entry. There will be hand sanitizer available. As this is a hands-on event, it is recommended that all attendees use hand sanitizer upon entry. Efforts will be made to disinfect handled items between shows when possible (for example, some paper items can't be sanitized, but plastic items can be). There will be a HEPA filtered air purifier in operation.
Street meters operate until 7 pm. Jackson Street parking garage is across the street and costs $2 per hour. The venue is a short walk from the Malden Center T stop on the orange line.
