On Friday, November 25th, jazz-inspired band Cherry Poppin’ Daddies, will treat MetroWest to a post-Thanksgiving performance at The VERVE - Crowne Plaza Boston-Natick. This high-energy group is sure to cure those post-Thanksgiving blues as well as provide a much-needed break from the shopping chaos of Black Friday.


Cherry Poppin’ Daddies’ music is a unique mix of swing and ska, while incorporating a traditional jazz influence. The band prides themselves on their individuality and musicianship, which provides audiences with a show that’s “poppin” with energy. Dust off your finest party shoes, and bop along to some of the band’s well known hits, such as “Zoot Suit Riot” and “The Ding-Dong Daddy of the D-Car Line.” For a blast from the past, this performance will also bring the audience back in time to when the Rat Pack was king. Mimicking the attitude of those legendary artists, Cherry Poppin’ Daddies covers Rat Pack classics like “Fly Me to the Moon” and “I’m Gonna Live Till I Die.”


Pulling from their most recent album, The Boop-a-do, which was released last January, fans can expect to enjoy some swing-inspired classics, which will encourage even the shyest of dancers to bust out their best Charleston. So, dust off those fedoras, gather up your friends, and join The VERVE for a swingin’ night!


Doors open at 7pm; performance begins at 9pm
