Girls with Glasses productions (GWG) is honored to produce Eve Ensler’s, “The Vagina Monologues” on March 10th and March 11th at 7:30PM at Warehouse XI in Somerville, MA. “The Vagina Monologues” is an award winning play which was written based on the stories of real women from around the world. The show is part of a global movement aimed at bringing awareness to, and reducing, violence against women. Some featured monologues include, Angry Vagina, They beat the girl out of my boy…or so they tried, Six year old girl, and new this year- My revolution. The cast is comprised of community members from the Somerville area. The production is directed by GWG Productions founder, Brittney Milligan. All proceeds will be donated to the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center to help victims of sexual violence and their families.
