The Thirsty Scholar in Somerville will be channeling Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry this weekend for some early Halloween celebrations. On Friday and Saturday nights, the pub will be decked in Harry Potter-themed décor complete with “floating” candles. Come dressed to impress in your costumes of any kind because on both nights at 9pm, the person rocking the best look will be awarded a $100 cash prize. Boston-based singer and guitarist Jamie Cain will perform a set on Saturday night from 8-11pm.
