Music director and host on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio’s “On Broadway,” Seth Rudetsky comes to Boston with GRAMMY and Drama Desk nominee Cheyenne Jackson.
Cheyenne was most recently seen on the small screen on FX’s “American Horror Story.” Among his Broadway credits include roles in the recent revival of Finian’s Rainbow, Xanadu, All Shook Up, Aida and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Additionally, he starred in the City Center Encores! Production of Damn Yankees and the off-Broadway productions of The Agony & The Agonyand Altar Boyz. Later this year, he can be seen in Disney’s “Descendants 3.” He most recently finished shooting the Disney pilot, “Fourfathers.” Before this, he was a series regular opposite Alicia Silverstone in the Paramount network’s “American Woman.” He also starred in Steven Soderbergh’s critically-acclaimed HBO biopic, “Behind the Candelabra,” opposite Michael Douglas and Matt Damon.
Through stories from Cheyenne’s unique career, as well as musical performances through the songs for which he’s most known, the evening promises to bring audiences a new perspective on the songs they know and love.
Produced by Emerson Colonial Theatre and Mark Cortale, The Seth Rudetsky Series brings hilarious and insightful conversation between Seth and each of the artists, anchored in each star’s own brand of blinding talent. Other dates in the series: Jessie Mueller on July 8 and Kelli O’Hara on January 9.
