Seraphim pays tribute to the tradition of sacred symbolism in numbers, with three settings of Hopkins’ poem “Peace,” motets by the three masters Schütz, Bach, and Distler; and the seven gifts of the Spirit in Carson Cooman’s Veni sancte Spiritus. And since this is Seraphim’s 21st birthday, we’ll present songs by Schubert and David Mooney celebrating the fruit of the vine!
