Join us for SkateFest and watch athletes from The Skating Club of Boston put on a spectacular ice skating performance! You don't want to miss this! Bring your family for an afternoon of free fun!
SkateFest benefits Our Place Day Care Center for Homeless Children at The Salvation Army Cambridge Corps. Our Place helps families break the cycle of homelessness and attain self-sufficiency by providing a program that meets the educational, emotional and spiritual needs of each family member. Your support can help us provide:
$3,000 Provides a monthly train or bus pass for 30 parents to transport their child, attend school and work, or look for housing.
$2,500 Allows a teacher to work one-on-one with a child who has developmental, behavioral or emotional delays for one month.
$1,000 Supplies Our Place with enough diapers and wipes for three months.
$500 Allows five children to receive nutritious meals and snacks for one week.
