The Roscoes are emerging artists who are cutting through the noise and making a name for themselves.

Set to release their debut album, this rock quintet with charismatic frontman, Christian Hatfield, blends deadpan storytelling with super sharp indie sound.  By drawing from masters of the alternative/indie genre like The Smiths and Joy Division, they’ve managed to craft a new sound with a rebel spirit of their own.

The band members in their early 20s have been playing music together for more than half their lives. Much of their young career has been kept exclusively to pop-up gigs rather than orchestrated shows. This spring, they’ve finally relented and decided to approach playing out with gusto.

They’re smart, funny, and keen collaborative ambassadors for their hometown of Plymouth, yet they’re heavily influenced by their months couch surfing in Europe. ‘Blame The Clock’ is their latest song, but ‘Lessons On A Broken Book’ is how it all started – a searing lambast of the expectations of what it means to be an ‘indie’ band in 2022.

We’re not saying The Roscoes are going to blow up to become the megastars of tomorrow, but they’re already some people’s favorite band. We want to introduce you to these new artists you might not have met yet: Christian Hatfield
