The Role of Doulas in Pregnancy and Birth with Fatima Seck
Learn how Doulas support Black mothers through pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery. This session will cover the benefits of Doula care and how to advocate for yourself in health care settings.
Fatima Seck, is a Birth Doula and Lactation educator who is passionate about creating community and support systems around birth and young families. She is the founder of Zanmi Zanmi, an organization that fosters maternal health through public education and community baby showers.
Join us for Empowered Birth: A Holistic Pregnancy Series. A transformative series designed to support women through pregnancy and pre-pregnancy planning. This engaging and interactive program will provide expert guidance, community support, and practical tools to help you navigate your journey with confidence and well-being.
Each session will be led by professionals who center on maternal health and wellness, offering a well-rounded approach to pregnancy and postpartum care.
